The Tooth Fairy

When we were young, the general lot of us held a certain belief in tooth fairies; eagerly waiting for dawn to see if the beings had made its appearance in the night. To our dismay or delight, this eventful anticipation to witness a miracle—or the strive for evidence—serves as a kind of assurance that some magic actually exists.
See, now that’s the thing with faith and willpower. Whether a particular something truly exists or doesn’t, if one were to hold a belief with such certainty, it is very likely that it would come to some form of fruition or existence all the same. Likewise, nonbelief, or simply the refusal to accept certain concepts, can sometimes help us to hang on more tightly to the already taut strings of sanity.
